Congratulations to Ciaran Sheridan in 2nd year, for winning the under 14s Junior School Championships. The event took place in Joey's Snooker Hall in Harmonstown on March 25th. Well done also to James Bray Duffy in 2nd place, Aaron Payne and Belloi joint 3rd place.

  • Stars Academy U14 and U15s snooker event On Saturday the 15th of February, students from CBS Westland Row took part in the All Stars Snooker event in Harmonstown. The students played great snooker, in particular Tareek Payne and Glen Roche who advanced in the U15 tournaments tournament but lost out in really nail biting frames! Congratulations to James Bray Duffy who won the Plate Competition.  It was a close final, but James potted some great balls to give him the win in the end. Well done James!

  • RCSI Debating Science Issues Congratulations to Nathan Ward and Eoghan Connolly who are now through to the final of the RCSI Debating Science Issues competition. The boys debated the issue of stem cell research in the semi final and they had tough competition from St. Vincent's, Dundalk. Best of luck to the CBS Westland Row team in the final!

  • See It, Do It CBS Westland Row students at the “See It, Do It” Leaving Cert Biology Practical Series.  This initiative provides Leaving Certificate students with the opportunity to work in the laboratories of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Our students conducted practical experiments from the Leaving Certificate Biology curriculum and also got information on careers in science.
